Subject	Anyone have/had experience with Carbon Fiber?

Message	My hood is bad! It has exactly 12,309 rock chips in it. (Okay I didn't really count) Lots of chips though. I was going to get it repainted, but because of all the chips they are going to have to strip it down to the metal and then paint it. Average cost of the 4 body shops in town (including maaco) 685$. I was thinking of just replacing it with a carbon fiber one and saying done. Has anyone ever had a c/f hood? My car is sapphire blue pearl, so I don't think you would be able to tell the hood was c/f from far away. <--for those of you who don't like the cosmetic look of it. I want all imput on this matter, no matter how insignificant PLEASE ~J.B
